Meet Shakar, the newest edition to my family. Shakar is a nine year old cheetah male. He arrived on November14, 2001. I adopted Shakar from the Adamante Orphanage run by Alluro. I must say it was love at first site. If you would like to adopt click on the link at the bottom of the page. Anyway, Shakar is quite frisky and a handful. Cheetah speed kicks in around this age so it's not always that easy to catch up with him. He enjoys playing with my pets and gets along with most of them, except for Felice. She is quite a moody animal and Shakar pulling her tail doesn't help her bad temper. |

On November 14, I adopted Shakar. I fell in love with him the moment I saw him. He is the sweetest little boy. A little rambunctious yes, but still adorable. I discovered he was an artist so for his coming home present I bought him a sketch book, some pencils, and a large stuffed Snarf. We're settling in now and we'll take time to get to know eachother. |

Well, Shakar got a big surprise when I came home today carrying two bundles in my arms. He zoomed around me in circles for five minutes asking me what i had brought home. I somehow made it to the couch and showed Shakar that he had two new little brothers, Russ and Trey. They are two 2 year old tabby cat twins that I just adopted from the Adamante orphanage. Shakar loves his new baby brothers and was quite dissapointed when all they wanted to do was sleep. |
