The Westlife boys are worth a
whopping £14.3 million! They are
worth more than the Spice Girls -
and that is official.

The bigwigs behind the
Guinness book of British Hit
Singles have recently declared
our very own Westlife winners
of their fantasy league based on
their chart performance.

They won hands down with
four number one records, spent
most of their time in the Top 75
and also have their Guinness
World Record as a bonus. In
'99, the boys amassed and
amazing 34 weeks in the chart,
selling almost one and a half
million singles. Quite something!

These results are taken from
the 'Guinness POPTA Index'
which gives a scale of values to
all the most popular groups,
DJ's, and solo artists. the
statistics are based on the
artist's durability, ability
to nab number ones in the
charts and, of course, their
record sales.

All in all, BMG have done
excellently with 5 ace acts in
the top twenty:

12. Whitney Houston £6.3m
13. Five £6.2m
15. Another Level £6m
19. Lou Bega £5.9m
