cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: I think we would look to do a BeeGees song.

cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: I would do "Fields of Gold" by Sting.

cybervenue_westlife: We love the way things are so much bigger: the roads, the cars, the food!

cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: I love New York, America
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Australia, and LA in America as well

taniabz asks: Have you done any touristy things while you've been in America?
cybervenue_westlife: Let me think...we saw the Statue of Liberty and in LA we saw the big Hollywood sign. We want to go to Universal Studios but just haven't had the time!

cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Yes, I did!

shane_filans_canadian_girl asks: What was it like opening for the Backstreet Boys and Boyzone? Christina, Vancouver, B.C. (Canada)
cybervenue_westlife: We only opened 2 nights with BSB in Dublin. Being on stage with them was amazing because we look up to them. They are an amazing vocal group.

cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: My grandmother gave each of us guardian angels.

cybervenue_westlife: Shane: No one really knows us yet and it is a bit weird not being asked for autographs.

cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Ronan, from Boyzone, bought Nicky a car for his birthday but it wasn't true!

taniabz asks: Are any of you going to write any songs?
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Yes, we are currently co-writing at the moment. We have about ten songs written between us. We are hoping to have them on our second CD.

westlife_gurliez asks: Who would you like to meet that you haven't yet?
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: I'd like to meet Michael Jackson
cybervenue_westlife: Bryan: Stevie Wonder
cybervenue_westlife: Bryan: Kian would like to meet Mr. Ed…LOL!

cybervenue_westlife: We just want to be successful...as big as the Beatles. To do concerts in front of thousands...that’s motivation!

twins_usa asks: First off, welcome to America! As a group what has been the most difficult ordeal you have had to deal with since being in Westlife?
cybervenue_westlife: Bryan: We actually had to change our name. We were worried people would forget who we were. It was originally Westside, however it ended up getting us a lot of press

cybervenue_westlife: It came from the fact that we are from the west side of Ireland

mindydogg1 asks: when is the CD coming out
cybervenue_westlife: In America, the CD will be coming out in April. It's already released overseas.

claire_5_99 asks: Bryan - what is the nicest thing a fan has ever done for you?! - e.g birthday?
cybervenue_westlife: Bryan: One fan got me a big cake for my birthday with about 5000 Jelly Babies on it. It was nice!

cheekypeepz asks: Do you like singing ballads?
cybervenue_westlife: Yes! We like uptempos also, but ballads are better. We like to perform them. Singing live and in the studio, it's better to sing ballads.

cybervenue_westlife: There are fewer at the moment! We haven’t spoke to too many. They are all really nice in America, but we are new.

pandalolly asks: Heya Bry - we all know you’re the funny man in the band. But who in Westlife, makes you laugh the most?
cybervenue_westlife: Bryan: Shane and Mark make me laugh, especially when they do impressions.

Tigger_njm asks: What did you all do today?
cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: We were in Boston and we went to a radio station…we all visited a shopping mall where we sang four songs for a Radio Disney Show…we did an in store signing.

cybervenue_westlife: Everyone wears boxers. We call briefs ‘passion killers’…LOL

isobell999 asks: What part of being of making music do you like the most: recording, performing, promoting, making videos....??
cybervenue_westlife: For all of us, performing on stage is the best. To get out there around the fans and hear fans singing back to you…it’s great!

crzy4westlife asks: I'm looking forward to your debut in the US. What's next on your American schedule?
cybervenue_westlife: Tomorrow we head to Rhode Island to do a performance in a mall. Then we go to Los Angeles to shoot a video. The director is Nigel Dick…he’s done videos for the Backstreet Boys & Britney. The video will be shot in a car wash!

cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: I try to at home
cybervenue_westlife: Mark: I use it the most.
cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: He loves to visit all these weird sites.
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: I don't like to use it

irislife asks: Hello once more. We constantly visit your WL Site and we are all wondering if you do read all the messages in there? What do you think of all these all out support for you?
cybervenue_westlife: We love them! Without the fans and the fan sites on the Internet, we would be nothing. We actually replied to a lot of the messages and the fans didn't believe it was us!
cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: Once I went to a fan's site called Chloe

the_westlife_girl asks: What do you guys think about online chats?
cybervenue_westlife: They are brilliant! We like to type ourselves...we’re all slow typers except for Mark. We love chats!

marks_scottish_babe asks: How are you going to celebrate St.Patrick's Day?
cybervenue_westlife: We will be in London, but flying to Dublin that night to visit the pub with all of our friends

cybervenue_westlife: Nicky says Shane. He means well...and he's dedicated...he
likes to make sure everyone knows what they are doing

westlifefanatic asks: How have fame and fortune affected your personal lives?
cybervenue_westlife: It's become more difficult. It's harder to keep a relationship with a girlfriend or to find a date. You would think it would be easier, but you're never sure if the girls like you just because you're in Westlife or for the right reasons

lillovesshane asks: i wanna know what the boys felt about headlining the childline gig the other week and what it was like when everyone knew all the words to "Fool Again!"
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: It was unbelievable! It was amazing! "Fool Again" was my favorite song and it was amazing that the home crowd knew the words. Thank you for that!

cybervenue_westlife: Shane: My mom's cooking
cybervenue_westlife: Everyone says that! We love our moms’ cooking. Also Italian food.
cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: Japanese Food.

becca1344 asks: Hi!! Want to wish you guys the best of luck on your video making and ask one question.....what's your idea of a "night on the town"?
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Start off with drinks in a pub. Few glasses of red wine (Nicky likes that). Then go out to a club for a good time.

cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Winning Record of The Year
cybervenue_westlife: Kian: Going to number one in the UK
cybervenue_westlife: For all of us there have been a lot of them, but especially signing on Arista working with Clive Davis.

envychick asks: What do you do when you have down time?
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: We usually go see our families if we have a long time. If we only have a short time, we love to sleep or watch TV.

Clio237 asks: Do you get scared of people screaming at you? I would!
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Sometimes actually it does. Especially in Asia...sometimes they pull your hair or run after you!

shane_filans_canadian_girl asks: are any of you religious?
cybervenue_westlife: We are all Catholic. We pray every night...always.

westlife_gurliez asks: Have any of you had an embarrassing moment while on stage?
cybervenue_westlife: Yes...a few! Today Shane hit a bum note, but he got over it! Nicky’s trousers fell down once…he had on Calvin Klein Boxers on so it was ok.
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Sometimes Nicky gets the words messed up!

cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Lots of them actually. I like "Swear it Again" and the new song, "Private Movie", a new song which will be on our American CD.

pandalolly asks: Kian, I know you play the piano and guitar. Have you written any songs, and would they ever make it into a Westlife album?
cybervenue_westlife: Kian: I've written a few songs with Shane & Bryan. 
cybervenue_westlife: Kian & Nicky also have written together …hopefully they'll be on the next CD.

silver_kaysee asks: Who gets the most fanmail??
cybervenue_westlife: Everybody gets their fair share! Sometimes different countries like different members.
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: We all actually own the TLC Fanmail CD as well…LOL

westlife_gurliez asks: Who gets picked on the most?
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Kian...we love to make fun of him because it gets him the most

cybervenue_westlife: Shane: No, we will always get that especially cause we are the new band. It’s actually an honor because they are our idols

isobell999 asks: What are the good sides of living in a hotel room when on the road??
cybervenue_westlife: There aren’t really any good sides. It’s just a place to sleep.
cybervenue_westlife: Maybe the mini bar…we try not to trash the rooms.

starrlite_18 asks: You guys sing loads of beautiful ballads, but I was wondering if the five of you are also interested in performing any high energy dance routines too?
cybervenue_westlife: Shane: Definitely, yes! Our second CD will have a lot more uptempos. We haven’t wanted to copy other bands. We are doing more vocals right now to try to be more original. We'll be doing a lot of uptempos in our live show…a lot of energy!

Tigger_njm asks: are there any songs that have a deep meaning for you?
cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: Moments…the first couple lines are very deep. It makes me cry. Not literally, but it's very touching.

cybervenue_host: What type of activities will you being doing currently in the U.S.?
cybervenue_westlife: Nicky: We are doing a lot of autograph signings, then a video in LA. We are also shooting a FOX FAMILY CHANNEL special which should be airing soon. For the details check CyberVenue!
