| All college-bound students will have to complete a couple of tests to qualify for admission to college. PSAT In the JUNIOR year, students take the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic ASptitude Test) in October. The PSAT can be taken for a score ONLY during the junior year, and from this score may qualify a student for the National Merit Scholarship program. SAT/ACT The summer before the senior year, college-bound students should take the SAT and/or the ACT. If a section of TASP is not passed prior to college entrance, non-credit remedial coursework will be required. Seniors may take the TASP test in the spring of the senior year.
