| TeXAS Grant Helps Pay for College The State of Texas wants YOU�to go to college! In fact, they want that so much that they will pay all tuition and fees for up to six years (150 credits) for financially-eligible students who complete the Recommended High School Program. If you have chosen to complete the requirements for the Recommended Program, you may be eligible. To apply for this grant, you will fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid in January of your senior year. You may also want to talk with someone in financial aid at your college to let them know that your academic program qualifies�they can then look at your family income information to see if you are eligible. Your extra work could really pay off! Grants do not have to be repaid, and it covers an average of $1,500 per year for four year colleges for a total of $7,500! Texas High School graduates only! |
