02.12.01 - got kicked out of Buffalo, NY (again!)
The last time I got "kicked out" of the great State of New York was New Year's day 1999 (01.01.1999). Apparently I needed a stupid ole visa to get in, while the inverse is not applicable to Americans, causing me to boycott the place. Still, it is the closest entry point into Canada (when measured from my desk) and in order to get my Canadian papers activated, I had to enter, which involved getting thrown out of Buffalo or Niagara Falls. The good news is I can meander in at will (if I want to, but why would I want to...)
