Pamela Springsteen (little sister of Bruce) returns as Angela Baker, one of the few female slashers in film history. Posing as an inner-city thug, she attends Camp New Horizons, the "restored" grounds where the second installment's slashings occured. Of course, one of the counselors is a police officer and father of one of Angela's victims. Things get very interesting.
Not too much to note, aside from the fact that Teenage Wasteland has breasts, bad acting and lots of slashings. Interesting deaths include; a firecracker exploding in one's mouth, a victim buried with their head exposed (which is eventually scalped with a lawnmower), and a shooting (in a slasher movie?).
The Bottom Line: The tounge-in-cheek tone and lousy acting creating a rousing good time. Fans of the second installment won't be let down. After all, you must respect any film that has a character hook a hockey mask while fishing. Plus, Angela's one liners are a hoot.
