Robo Vampire is your typical Oriental kung-fu/horror film. It is dubbed, badly, and shot on cellophane. The final print has more flaws than a diamond unearthed in Peru. I mean this flick REALLY LOOKS BAD.

We follow the story of an American police officer who is killed on duty, then covered with cookware and garbage lids only to become the government's top "robotic" (and I use that term loosely) narcotics agent. When he moves his joints, the mechanical noises aren't even CLOSE to matching up. The editor doesn't even try. Meanwhile, hopping vampires (in the Orient, there's no other kind) are being used in a plot to take over the world's drug smuggling! You know these undead menaces are evil, because every time they open their mouths, clouds of smoke are released. It looks like the actors are on a ciggie break in between scenes.

There's not much else worth mentioning, aside from some hilariously bad fighting scenes that look borrowed from the upcoming Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

The bottom line: Definately worth a look just to figure out which country made this damn movie! The director's name is American, and half the actors are caucasion. They even speak English, but are re-dubbed (again in English). What the?
