Okay, maybe I'm off the mark with the music thing, but at least I didn't direct a film with a wheelchair zooming across the screen during the opening credits. Hellroller's plot is a first of some kind, but not necessarily a good one. A woman is raped and impragnated by a two-headed redneck, giving birth to a parapeligic serial killer!
Shot on video (instead of film) in 1992, the master edit looks as if it was washed with turpentine before distribution. "Light meter shlight meter; microphones shlykrophones" appears to be the director's mottos, as the actors can bearly be seen or heard (thank God, as the acting is dreadful). Look quickly for Michelle Bauer, who must really be low on cash.
The low point: In one scene, our paralyzed hero chases down a muscle-bound personal trainer(!).
The high point: The hellroller, dragging himself with his arms, captures a half-naked woman who moves freely across her apartment.
