The Irish Test

They walk among us, some don't even know they are one but many of us are.  The best of them dwell in pubs, ends of rainbows and places you are required to do types of jigs. There everywhere!  So to avoid confusion here are a few guidelines to check to see if you are Irish and just how Irish you are!  Remember to keep score.

Is This You?

Is this you?  Getting tanked any time.  No particular reason?  Then you are most likely, IRISH!!!

If you can see yourself doing this or something similar: 5 points.

Do you live in the place called Ireland?  Then it is pretty obvious you are Irish!

Is this you?  Yes?: 10 points

This is a standard beer if you are Irish.

Always go for the biggest beer or pints?  Yes?: 6 Points.

The Irish like to fight and are usually surely, in fact most Irish are conceived this way.  Notice the fighting style, this is known as "Irish style".

Feeling surly?  You are probably Irish.

Like a good fight?: 3 points.

Fight Like This?: 5 Points

Potatoes your staple diet?  Then Irish you are.

Eat a lot of potatoes or potato products? 5 points.

Do You Look Like This?  This is a Leprechaun, the most Irish of Irishness!

Red Hair?: 5 Points

This resembles you?: Give Points an a scale of 0 - 10.

Do you drink or have you ever drank this?  This is Guinness, an Irish beer, a drink of champions.

Have drunk a whole Guinness and liked it?: 6 points

Scoring:

You can score from 0 - 70

0 - 14 :  What's a Pub?  What is the Emerald Isle?  Is a Leprechaun someone who farms corn?  You aren't even remotely Irish!  I'm sorry, you are considered as "NOT IRISH!" and not Irish is, not good enough!  You need to work on your Irishness.

14 - 28 :  You have a slight green tinge to your personality but still would feel out of place in an Irish pub or kissing that Blarney stone.  You need to do some serious study so hit the pubs and get busy because you are considered as Slightly Irish.

28 - 42 :  You are probably a descendant of an Irish legend who would definitely score a close 70.  You are probably not Irish all the time but love going all out leprechaun style every now and then on the rare occasion.  Come on, you aren't trying hard enough!  Good on you, not afraid to be a bit Irish, you are considered Moderately Irish.

42 - 56 :  You are almost as Irish as a four leafed clover growing out of a crack in the blarney stone surviving on Guinness.  Your loves in life are a good meal with potatoes, a pint or two and don't mind a bit of biff-o.  Strong within you, the Irishness is.  Well Done, you are considered very Irish.

56 - 70 :  You are a Leprrechaun.  You are currently sitting on a pot of gold in front of your computer with a pint of Guinness after downing about six spuds and feeling very surly for no apparent reason.  Your idea of a good time is getting tanked on potatoes and beer and doing a merry jig. toit toit toit toit to ye self Jimmy!  Congratulations you are considered Extremely Irish!
