| What the heck? What is this? What is going on? Yes, yes I know what's on your mind. . .why is the text slanted? Welcome to Pisa. . .home of the leaning tower. We made a quick stop to this crazy little town on the way home from Italy and we were not disappointed. It is just that. . .crazy! |
| Although it was raining slanted rain, we decided that a trip to Europe would not be complete without a trip to the leaning tower. So we fought through the rain, the crazy bus system and the other tourists and were rewarded with one of the strangest sites man has ever constructed. A visit to Pisa feels like a visit to a funhouse. You keep blinking to fix your eyes. Above and to the right are our crazy first views. |
| As hard as we tried we could not push the tower upright! Hehe. . .we are such cheezy tourists. we love it! |
| Total time we spent in Pisa--two hours, We could not stop laughing for the whole time. It is just so silly looking but there it stands enshrined with hundreds of toursits coming to see one of the oddities of the world. With the tower as our backdrop, we decided the best thing to do in Pisa is eat some pizza and then we left this strange little monument and the rain and headed home. |
