| Here are some crazy pictures of crazy, crazy Carnival in Marseille. Carnival is a celebration surrounding "Mardi Gras" or "Fat Tuesday" where everyone just kind of lets loose. These pictures are just a glimpse of what was in store for Liz, Jeremy and I when we went out in pursuit of the Carnival parade. Everyone was really into it and the mood was festive. Some of the best people watching I have ever done. . .all in all a great day! (P.S. . . keep in mind that all of the costumes were homemade. I have never seen so much paper mache in my life!) |
