Most movies, TV shows, and people stereotype cheerleaders to be blonde ditz', who date football players, and say "like, whatever, oh my god"! And I'm here to tell you you're wrong. Some cheerleaders may come across like that but many are not like that at all. I am a cheerleader. I don't have blonde hair, I don't date football players, and even though I might say like or whatever, its only because of the way I grew up or the people I hang out with. It's not because I'm a cheerleader. The cheerleaders on my squad have to have at least a 2.0 average by the school, but by my coach you have to have a 3.0. Although some cheerleaders may not be the smartest people in the world, cheerleading is tough. It takes a lot of time and energy to be a cheerleader. Do you have what it takes? |
