| Try-out Tips |
| ~Try to wear school colors the day of try-outs. ~Look neat ~Don't try to do flips if you know you can't. ~If you have to walk forward when you do your cheer individually,when you walk back after the cheer, always face the judges and walk back without turning around, and keep smiling when you are walking back. ~Keep your movements tight and positions stiff. ~Exercise at least 2 weeks before tryouts ~Be loud. Scream from your diapragm not your throat. ~Keep your hair out of your face. ~Try not to "WOO" Instead yell" Go big red! or part of a chant. ~show spirit. when you came in yell spirit verses! like, Go ROckets! We're Number 1! ~ALWAYS get enough rest and eat well to keep your energy for tryouts. DON'T load on caffine, candy..etc...EAT HEALTHY~ Have a good atiitude and believe you can make the squad. ~Have fun. ~Look happy, not nervous! ~ And don't forget......SMILE!!!!!!!! |
