| what?! There's a show? That's right kids.. Kodos is having a show on November 23rd with the infamous Boyscout Dropouts.. mark your calenders! Oh yeah.. it's at the loft too. So they're NOT making us wait 7 months to see them again.. see? I knew they loved their fans! There's another show entitled the "Matt Tucker Fest" on May 3rd. It's in honor of his 18th birthday which is on May 1st. (or at least that's what I'm assuming..) Are they going on tour again? Because the last one kicked ass! Yes my little ska friends.. Kodos is going on tour yet again! Except we have to wait awhile for this one. The kick off show is on May 16th. The venue is undisclosed (I don't think they have it set yet..) but they're playing at Skappleton on May 17th. Skappleton is in Appleton.. and trust me.. you don't want to miss it. After those two shows they are planning on going around the country promoting how good Madison ska actully is (aren't you glad Kodos is doing it?) I heard a rumor about a new EP.. is it true? Yes.. the rumors are true.. the "Not Penis Cream" EP will be available by the next tour. And for some unexplainable reason I have the track listing (shh.. I secretly stalk the band until they give me this information.. well.. it's not really a secret.. but still..) 1) On The Phone 2) Pastaroni 3) Where Are We Going To? 4) Not Penis Cream 5) All I Have Left 6) I Tied My Own Shoes Today Dear lord girl, what else do you know?! Oh.. I know plenty.. believe me.. but one little tid bit I do know is that Rick is moving back to Wisconsin from DC because he finally realized that Lifebox 20 is really really not cool and that Kodos is 29804523 times better. That's right kids.. instead of talking to Rick online while he's in DC you can talk to him online while he's in Madison. Score! But that's in April.. so.. all you kids that entertain him at work.. yeah.. he still needs that entertainment and love from the Madison contingent. Onto other news.. the guys (or Rick when he's bored at work) actully update their site recently. So check out some of the pictures, because they're just fun. Rick promised me a Kodos reunion show in the year 2082, and yes.. the band will be in wheel chairs. (Much like the reunion show at Marshall Elementary, but maybe the school won't smell like pee anymore by then..) I also know that I'm really happy that these boys are back together again.. not just because of the endless entertainment.. but because they're going to make it after all! (yeah.. I really need to stop quoting really crappy theme songs from the 70's.. so with that.. I'm stopping.) *taps chucks* I wanna to go home.. |
