Shihan
holds the rank of Black Belt 6 Dan (Ruku Dan ), in All India Nippon Shito
Ryu Karate Do Federation & Kobe Osaka International. All India Karate
Do Federation, Rank of Yon Dan ( AIKF-National Tournament
2000 at Bhopal) which is recognized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth
Affairs of the Government Republic of India and Indian Olympic Association,
World Karate Federation recognized by International Olympic Committee.
He
is the Senior National Referee of AIKF(1995) and National 2nd rank holder
in the N.I.S. Exam conducted by Sports Authority of India (National Institute
of Sports) in the year 2000, that was the 1st N.I.S Karate
Coaches batch conducted by Sports Authority of India at SAI NSEC Salt lake
City, Calcutta. He has more than 25 years experience in the art of Karate
.Shihan Shibisudevan is the senior student of the Great Warrior So Shihan
Dr. Moses Thilak (late) 8th Dan -Japan , was the Chairman of the AIKF . So
Shihan was the father of Indian Karate.
Shihan
participated many International Karate Championships and he placed 3rd the
Good Will International Karate Championship 1994. In the Mens Black Belt Open
kata of the World Karate Championship he got the 5th placed the tile of WORLDNUMBER
FIVE in Japan, may 2001.
He
started Karate training when he was ten years old . He has
an unprecedented recores of absolute consistency in the competition at State,
National and International level . He started competing at the
age of fifteen in Kata and Kumite. He completed and achieved Eleven Times
District Championship. Five times State Karate Championship, TWO times National
Championship (Runner up). In the year 1994 he won the title of the NATIONAL
KARATE CHAMPION in both Kata and Kumite. He passed the Shito National Referee
exam in the year 1993 with the presence of the Shito Ryu World Chief, Soke
: Kenei Mabuni 10th Dan Red Belt-Japan . In the year 1995 AIKF Nationals.
He passed the National referee Exam in Madras.
In
1994 Good will International Karate Championship conducted by Shihan : Jamal
Miya Sara (Chief Referee, Germany) that time he won the title of International
Bronze Medallist. Gold and silver goes to Germany and Malaysia. In 1995
he retired from the State and National Championships and only attended the
National Team selections. He was the first & only one AIKF National Referee
in Trivandrum and the highest Black belt rank holder (AIKF) in the state of
Kerala. Now, in the national level Shihan attended as AIKF-Senior Official
and as the official Government Karate Coach (NIS). Shihan is
the Vice President of All India Karate Do NIS Coaches Council .Secretary
of Kerala Karate NIS Coaches Council . Shihan is the President and
Chief Technical Director of Great Warriors Academy International, Technical
Director in the state of Utter Pradesh and Utheranchal . He is also an ACTIVE
MEMBER of NIPPON SHITO RYU KARATE DO INTERNATIONAL, H .Q. Osaka, Japan &
the world’s most esteemed Karate Organisation viz. KOBE OSAKA INTERNATIONAL
( Founder - President Sensei Tommy Morris 8 DAN & – Chief Referee
World Karate Federation. ( WKF )
He
is selected as the present Karate - Indian Team Captain 12th World
Cup 2003 at Athens, Greece and 13th World Cup 2004 at
Manila , Philippines.
Shihan
Shibisudevan is working as Government Employee in the Directorate of Employment
and Training, Thycaud, Trivandrum,Kerala and he is directly controlling
prestigious Dojo in the Jimmy George Indoor Stadium under
the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Kerala
& Government Womens College Dojo Trivandrum
,Kerala.
After all his aim is to achieve the title
of the World Champion and to be the Olympic Gold Medalist.
