THE PRIMARY RESIDENCE:
The main house is about 23 years old. It has had numerous updates but maintains a traditional appeal. Its exterior is natural cedar shakes with white trim. There are small front and rear porches. The main floor features about 1880 sq ft and includes an entrance foyer, large living rm, a family rm with fireplace, a kitchen with a walk in pantry and informal dining area, a back entrance with a laundry area, a dining rm with a built in mahogany china cabinet and server, a 5 piece bathrm, and a master bedrm (which could serve as an alternate family/TV rm) with 2 walk-in closets. The second story has about 780 sq ft and includes a large bedrm with a walk in closet, 2 other bdrms, and a bathrm with a whirlpool tub. There is also walk-in attic storage off of this floor. THE GROUNDS:
The property overlooks and fronts the Chebogue River and salt marsh, with access to the Bay of Fundy. Deep water mooring is nearby. Three of the acres are landscaped and include mature shrubs, trees, flower and vegtable gardens, and a goldfish pond. Three other ponds are connected by a brook which flows through the property into the river. The property also includes a wood shed, as well a large shed/extra garage attached to the guest house.
