G4 the Video Game Channel (!?) called it "Midnight Spank" and aired a new episode every week, Thursday at 12am. The shows are best of episodes from Season 5. The first thing you notice is Bob Macgruder has been replaced by an Mtv VJ dude type. The intro is the same as S6, but the background music has totally changed - it's a pumping techno type beat. There is a new logo next to Joey's name. Joey's client intro features clips of the interview and surveillance. When they do the interview they show clips of the suspect, then they go right into the surveillance. The announcer dork says things like, "This chick is Teri.", "the dude is Dave's wingman" and "she's freaking out." He also says stuff like "we tried to find him again, but he was too pissed" like this channel created the show. Even though the episodes are years old, they act like they are new and have no new updates. Then they go back to the interview, then back to the surveillance - it's all rolled together. The briefing is also edited down. During the confrontation the music gets all intense. The confrontation goes right into the afterwards with this sappy music. The follow up is called "archives". The music here is also pumping. Over the credits the "Broken Hearted" song is gone and some jungle rhythm beat plays. Bob Macgruder is still listed in the credits and the date is still 2004. Overall this is a ton of work to basically dumb down the show for a younger ADD audience. I can't imagine it's worth the time and money when the show is great the way it is. Each episode is down to 16:45 minutes, 14 main, 2:45 min follow up. In April 2007 these exact episodes starting airing on the E! Channel.
The show seems to have stopped making new episodes regularly since April 2008. I have only seen a handful since then and they might've just been ones I missed. Of course the official site is no help.

For this season they started adding as many as 6 new ones a week, then when the horrible show Code Monkeys debuted on 7/11/07, Cheaters was thrown under the bus and CM took many of its slots, then live coverage of shows came and it was a month with no new episodes. They added some shows from 2005. It died a while, then aired new ones Mondays, then it died completely.
