CHEAP THRILLS GAME BACK ON! 6th November, 2003
I think that Vida must have read my last news entery below, as they contacted Didge this afternoon and have confirmed that we once again have a match which will be at 9pm tonight. Our opponents, 'Pound a Pint'. We played them last week and came away with an unlucky loss. So lets hope that the tables will be turned this week.

NO GAME THIS WEEK! 5th November, 2003
Isn't it always the way! Here I was ready to start making something out of this website and ready to update it each and every week, and Vida tells us that they have not got a match for us. How Annoying!!
And i have just learnt html so that i can make my reports more fun!
Well, there is always next week!! So on this Thursday night, there will not be a Cheap Thrills match. At least we have a chance of not being beat this week then!!

COMPLETE SITE RE-VAMP ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE, 31st October, 2003.
You may have read in this weeks report that plans are underway to completely change this website. A kind of spring clean, in November!
This is due to nearly all of the profiles, reports and even the pictures being out of date. Once Didge and myself get the time, we will be working together to bring you all the best site we can. Any ideas, don't keep them to yourselves, thats greedy! Let us know, we would love the input.

RECENT DEPARTURES, 31st October, 2003
The most recent player to leave the Cheap Thrills pitch is Jeff 'Big Head'. Although he was a decent player, his attitude and outbursts on and off the pitch was not appreciated by the rest of the team and left us feeling deflated and un-motivated. Bottom line, he was sapping the fun out of playing.
After being warned about the outbursts more than once, he was shown the red card.
These next departures may not come as a shock, but have now been made official. Westy has now had to leave due to his knee injury, and also Mike has withdrew from the pitch after playing some months ago on what was supposed to be a comeback. Turns out to have just been his testimonial!
Mike and Westy were two of the original players to form Cheap Thrills three years ago along with myself, Didge and Paul Tate. They will be greatly missed.
That means that the two remaining original players are the founders, myself and Didge. Trust us, we aint going nowhere! ;-)
