Our Links to Friends

This is our page where we provide links to sites that our friends have. (By the way, we have asked permission from everyone here before posting their link.) So please, click on our friends' sites and get to know them, too.

This is our friend, Jeffrey Brady's site. Jeffrey has the distinction of being the first friends' link posted on our site. Jeffrey is a prolific traveler, having spent time in Japan and last summer having been to Ireland.

Jeffrey's Website "J-Blend 2000"

This is the site for our friends, Kate and Harris. Harris gave me my first bottle of Glenlivet 12-year Scotch more than three years ago now. You'll want to check out their "Pet Section" or "The Dog in Schmoo Corner" page, and their "Food Section" or "Good Grub" page is also worth a visit just to get the recipe for Harris' bagels.

Kate and Harris' Website "Liberry Land Times"

This is Dr John Castelein's site. John was my advisor and thesis professor for my MA program at Lincoln Christian Seminary. Check out his course and available workshop links to see what he teaches. If you're in a sermonic frame of mind, check out the link to several of his sermons.

This is the link to Amy Mather's website. Amy graduated from library school with Anna and loves to make jewelry. Give her page a visit and look over the jewelry she's made. She also has a link to her brother's woodworking pieces. There's a lot to see, so visit often. [Note: Amy has a real life, too.  So sometimes she doesn't update her website for a few months.  But she always has things to offer.]

Amy's Website "Arts and Crafts Collective"

This is the link to Jeramy Townsley's website.  Jeramy is an example of an e-friend.  I only know Jeramy through our common participation on an email listserv.  But I have found him to be thoughtful, intelligent and articulate.  His website clearly reflects that, as well.

This is the link to Jason Fout's website.  Jason and I both attended Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois.  Jason is now an Episcopal priest, and he and his wife, Kristen, serve a small but active parish in Michigan.  Jason is a "purdy smart feller," and I personally think he should have gone ahead and gone for his PhD.  But then, he's probably pretty thankful I'm not his vocations director!

This is the link to Christina Steiner's website.  Christina is a high school classmate of mine, who works for Random House in New York.  A year ago this summer, we both attended our high school class reunion, and caught up a bit on the previous fifteen (yes, fifteen!) years.  We've exchanged a couple of emails since then, and recently, having viewed our website gave me the okay to include her site here.  So here it is.

[NEW!!] This is the link to Dr A K M (or AKMA) Adam's website.  Dr Adam was one of my seminary professors, specifically of my class on the historical Jesus. (My book review was on N T Wright's Jesus and the Victory of God which link is on the class homepage.)

AKMA's Website and you can read his blog here.

[NEW!!] This is the link to Tripp Hudgin's weblog (or blog).  Tripp attends the same seminary I did, though he came in after I'd finished classes.  (I did, however, meet him when he came to visit the seminary.)  We recently ran into one another at the party of a mutual friend.  We exchanged net stuff and so here you go.

Tripp's Blog and his site on Pachomius, founder of communal monasticism

[NEW!!] This is the link to the Christian Student Fellowship website.  Todd and Gretchen Magruder are the founders/ministers.  We met Todd and Gretchen way back when I was ministering at a rural church in central Illinois.  They've been friends since, and we support, as best we can, their ministry.
