ADAM SMITH
Adam Smith was born in Scotland. He grew up their and when he was old enough went to the Glasgow University in 1738. he studied Philosophy. He went bac to scotland and gave lectures in Edinburgh. He talked about many of the things he put in his work Theory of Moral sentiments. Also the subjects he talked about in the wealth of nations his most famous and noted work. In 1750 he met David Hume his closest friend. Smith became a professor of logic in 1751 at glasgow university. When it was published it was very popular. This upset Smith because it was supposed to be to complex for the vulgar. In 1776 he published the Wealth of nations. This work remains one of the most important works on economics ever written. He died in 1790 at the age of 67.
