OCTOBER 7TH CLUB CHAMPS.
This is the one meeting of the year when there are trophies
up for grabs, mates become the enemies and we all want something to go wrong
with someone else’s kart and not theirs for a change, the gloves are off and we
don’t want to give away our overtaking strategies or the quickest way to get
around that tight corner, we even think twice about lending that spare
accelerator cable or cable tie in case we might need it ourselves
NOT!
In all the years I’ve been involved with this club it
does not matter what’s up for grabs or who’s racing it’s always the same,
someone needs help to get going or needs a spare part the great thing with this
club is the way someone is willing to help, not many race clubs can say that
and mean it, I can’t see this month being any different that’s why it’s such a great club to be part
of.
GOOD LUCK to everyone entered may your driving be
rewarded on Sunday.
We will be racing in our old paddock for the next 4-5
months.
Don’t forget to take all your rubbish with you
after race day we could end up paying the farmer for a dead sheep or cow if
they eat our rubbish.
TRACK SETUP.
The committee will be setting up the track on Saturday
6th at
We also need help on the Sunday with flag marshals as
all the committee will be racing and have a lot to do on the day to keep it
running smoothly.
Lap Scorers are the most important people on the day,
no lap scorers no points so if you can help with this the more people we can
get the easer it becomes.
THE MORE HELPERS WE GET THE QUICKER WE WILL GET
THROUGH THE DAY, (we have 40 races to get through).
A BIG THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.
RACE DAY
Please have your club membership renewal form filled
out ready to sign in, the first table will take your membership money and form
