         Table 1 shows the descriptive statistics for age group, perception of overall quality of care

         received, and perception of health status, as reported by respondents on the satisfaction survey.

Table 2 demonstrates a very significant correlation between age group and perception of care received, where R = .170 for these two variables.  There is also a strong correlation between perception of health status and perception of care received (R = .048).  Note that these variables are significant at the p < .01 level. The correlations show that with increasing age, and improved perception of health, patients are increasingly more satisfied with the care they receive.
