All things work for our own good

Though sometimes we can't see how they could

Struggle that breaks our heart into two,

sometimes blind us to the truth.

Our Father knows what's best for us

His ways are not our own.

So when your pathway grows dim,

and when you just can't see Him,

Remember He's still on the throne

God is too wise to be mistaken

God is too good to be unkind

So when you don't understand,

WHen you don't see his plan

If you can't trace His hand,

Trust His heart.

GOD IS WITH ME

I know that God is near to me

Through each and everyday

His hand is always clasped in mine,

To guide me on my way

I rest upon his promise

That the best is yet to be,

and meanwhile I am at peace

Because my God is near to me.

BROKEN DREAMS

As children bring their

broken toys with tears for us to mend

I brought my broken dreams to God

Because He was my friend.

But instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone,

I hung around and tried to help

in ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried,

"How can you be so slow?"

"My child," He said,

" What can I do? You never did let go..."
