You came to us with a red
ribbon 'round your neck,
a surprise for the
kids at Christmastime.
Already our house was
full,
but somehow I just
couldn't resist bringing you home with me,
a tiny kitten from the
grocery store parking lot.

of our family
all these years, Miss
