RESEARCH BOOKS FOR LOUISIANA LINEAGES

HI! While I'm often asked to perform a "lookup" for other researchers, the questions
often cover a time period that I cannot accommodate. Following is a list of books
that I own and use most often for my research. (One of the most frequent questions
I'm asked and cannot answer is regarding Avoyelles Parish marriages after 1899.)
Remember....there are many other great books out there so be
sure to check out a good genealogical library!!

For some reason, an extra character is being inserted into some of the lines below (right in the middle of the page) when I upload the page to the web. Please keep this in mind when reading below until I'm able to resolve."
