Can You Help??

I've searched everywhere for info on the following person(s) but have
reached a dead end! Can you help?
EMELIE/AMELIE/EMILY MARTIN married Auguste
Moreau on October 12, 1815 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. Civil marriage
record indicates that Emelie/Amelie/Emily was the daughter of Samuel Martin
and Isabelle Martin. However, I am unable to find any record of Samuel/Isabelle
Martin. I was unable to find them in the 1810 Census nor in any published
Avoyelles, Pointe Coupee or Southwest Louisana records of the period. Samuel Martin was
deceased in 1815 at the time of his daughter's marriage to Auguste Moreau.
(Auguste Moreau was born and baptized in 1795 in Opelousas.)
There were at least 5 children born to Auguste Moreau and Emelie Martin:
Eliza married Rueben Barker; Helen married Dudley Rutledge; Emelie married
James M. Nelson; Auguste married Uranie Mayeux; and Anne. Emelie Martin was deceased before
February 13, 1838 because Auguste Moreau married Lucinde Lacour on that
date. Auguste Moreau was the son of Pierre Antoine Celestin Moreau and
Adelaide Goudeau.
Can anyone verify that Samuel Martin and Isabelle Martin were actually the
parents of Emelie Martin? Any info regarding this family would be appreciated!

ETIENNE CHAMPAGNE (also called Etienne Louis dit
Champagne) married Marie Jeanne Pelletier. Their daughter, Marie Claude Champagne,
married Francois Bissette on November 14, 1752 at St. Charles Parish,
Louisiana. I am attempting to find out more about Etienne Champagne,
the father. The following record appears in "Archdiocese of New Orleans,
Sacramental Records, Volume I, 1718-1750":
"Etienne Louis (Charles and Jeanne Delette) native of Orleans,
m. Anne Foucheur (Faucheur) April 9, 1731; Wit: Etienne Tabarit
(Tabari), Louis Giscard (Gischar), Etienne Matee, Louis Leonard
(SLC, B1, 50)"
Is this the same Etienne that is the father of Marie Claude (Claudine)
Champagne? Interestingly, the marriage record of Marie Claude lists her
parents as Estien and Marie Jeanne Delleblet.
