| "ALL FOR THE LOVE OF SUNSHINE" The darkness of our world was all cleared away. The flowers are blooming, it's a beautiful day. There's a girl with a heart as big as the sky. She's Sunshine and I know why. Tho' Sunshine can always make my day seem bright. Sunshine can warm up a cold, cold night. I know my Sunshine was sent from above, an angel that's filled with love. Thru' winter, springtime, summer and fall, the moonlight, the starlight, she outshines them all. In a world filled with fear, with hate and such harm, my sunshine can be so warm. All for the love of Sunshine, All for the love of Sunshine. The Lord smiled down on this life of mine and sent me the love of Sunshine. (This song and "You are my Sunshine" were very special songs to Shelby Lyn. She would say "Grandma tell me the story about when I was born again and sing You are my Sunshine. She would smile and giggle the entire time. She truly is our little sunshine. |
| Highway 99 turned out to be the highway to heaven for our Sunshine & her daddy on that Monday morning as she went to work with her daddy for her first semi ride with him. The ride only lasted for 5 miles and they were tragically taken from us. Our lives will never be the same. We know without a doubt that you are with Jesus in heaven and that is all that gets us through this. We love you baby girl and for sure u r still our sunshine and always will be.Until we get to see you in heaven ... WE Love & Miss You so very very much. |

| 03/23/03 You've been gone a little over a year now and it seems like just yesterday that you were taken from us. We miss you sweetie, every single hour of the day we miss you! We know you are happy in heaven with family and Jesus and wouldn't come back to this place if you could. Someday we will meet again and we will have so much fun together. We all love you so very much. |
| 06/08/06 we went to your 8th grade graduation sweetie, your class had a pretty heart wreath in an empty chair for you....was very hard to not see you walk down with the others and to look at that empty chair. In heaven tho I bet you have a halo, a beautiful gown and probably beautiful wings so you outshine all those purple gowns.Wow, your 15th bday coming up in a few months. seems like just yesterday that you were born... love n miss ya sweetie. love ya, gramma |
