My College Years
Freshman Year: 2000-2001
I first entered Clarion University in the fall of 2000, as a Library Science in Education major. I gradually became involved in activities, and attended "Read for the Cure," in support of Breast Cancer research. I managed to pull off a GPA of 3.250 by the end of the fall. During the spring of my freshman year, I became Historian for my Hall Council, and I participated in the Community Service "Service Plunge." I left my freshman year with a 2.20 GPA, and squeaked by with a 2.758 Cummulative GPA.
Sophomore Year: 2001-2002
Fall
I was still involved in activities, and attended "Read for the Cure," in support of Breast Cancer research for a second time. During the fall of my sophomore year, I became Secretary for my Hall Council. I also became a member of ALLIES (the GBLT group on campus). Towards the end however, I had been oversleeping and missing a lot of classes. This caused me to fail the majority of them, thereby causing me to be placed on Academic Probation. *shudders*
Spring
I began attending HACC- Harrisburg Area Community College full-time, as opposed to just in the summer. That way, my doctor could keep a closer eye on me. Also, I started to work on my Gen Eds, and got back into the swing of things... I am beginning to crack down on studying. I have also switched majors, and am going for the Web Developer AA Degree Program.
