Remembering all those that have lost their lives in the U.S.A.   -   11.09.01
R.I.P.
I will never forget that awful day.  I remember exactly what I was doing when the news broke onto our screens here in the UK. I had been in the garden starting to dig foundations for a driveway and had come in for lunch.  It is one of those times that I will always remember, as is the death of Princess Diana.

I remember sitting while eating my lunch and a cold chill going down my spine as they showed what had happened and I sat here hoping it was 'pilot error'. THEN in amazement I watched as yet ANOTHER plane crashed into the second trade centre.  I remember thinking who could be so sick to do such an EVIL thing to so many innocent people.  But we all know who now don't we?  It was so unreal that I found it hard to take in.  All I could think about were those poor children who would not see there mummy/daddy or both that evening and all those poor newly formed single parent households in the USA.

I sat here and said a prayer for them all. Yet another time it left me very worried about world peace.  My friend, Eddie, was in Boston that week and due back 3 days after this.  Thankfully he was safe.  Needless to say, he had to put off flying back.  I feel a special fondness of USA citizens and just want you all to know, that I will never forget those that perished in such evil circumstances.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

This candle burns in memory of all those who perished in that awful, evil atrocity in the WTC 11.09.01
Also, not forgetting those that risked and lost their lives in the services. GOD BLESS.
