'My Daughter' My dear little daughter You are so sweet You sit and watch television Upon your seat My dear little daughter With Your gappy grin Waiting for new teeth To fill the spaces in My dear little daughter With your fair hair You wonder when Mummy will be there My dear little daughter You're five years old When doing something wrong You wont be told (not to) K Written for my daugher in 1986
'For my daughter with Love' Your little arms God carefully made And through your spirit, God displayed His perfect wonders of the earth Through your innocence, he showed his worth And through your happy laughter outside God showed his love, and grace, in kind And when he made your beautiful eyes He made a screen that sees no lies And when he made your little ears He also made healing tears That you may use to heal your pain So in your heart, heartache wont remain And on your head a golden crown God's in your soul, he wont let you down My dear child, may you be blessed And be stronger than all the rest Just know God is always with you And when you hurt, he hurts too Just know when you're alone and sad , he's beside And he'll heal you when you cry K - written for my daughter 1993
'Little Baby' My little baby, You sleep and rest This is the time, I like you best My little baby, With your eyes closed You lay and breathe, through your nose My little baby, you start to move I rub your back, and try to soothe My little baby, in your cot, I am so lucky, am I not? K - written when I was thinking how I used to spend hours looking at my daughter when she was in her cot.
