Tejal Swar, CTM/CL

Tejal Swar was born Tejal Vakil in Bombay, India and lived in Boston, MA before moving to Mountain View, CA in 2000. Tejal has worked as a Software Engineer, most recently for Excite@Home, and plans to continue in that field. Tejal enjoys music, reading, and traveling. She describes herself as fun loving, understanding, friendly. Tejal reports that a little known fact is that she won a personality contest while in school.

Shortly after Tejal joined CH@Home Toastmasters in November 2001, she agreed to serve as Sergeant-at-Arms. The following term, she returned from her wedding in India to find that she had been elected President. Tejal earned both her CTM and CL at CH@Home's "Evening of Achievement" in Sept. 2002. Her inspirational speech was titled "Enjoy the Journey".
