February 12th, 2004 Most of you have come by and found out about Amy and checked out
the pictures. If you have any you would like to add, please feel free to e-mail them to me and
I will post them as soon as possible.
For those of you who do not know, Amy's funeral services will be held on Friday. Ashli has
has informed me that she as well as Tim and Andre will be attending. If you have not done so
yet, please find a moment to contact Amy's family. Also, if anyone has any video of Amy from
the program, please contact myself or Ashli.
In the meantime, I have created a small video dedicated to Amy that I hope you might be
interested in watching. You will find a link to a folder of videos below.
(Please keep in mind, the quality has been lowered significantly so that all may enjoy it over the internet.
If you would like a high quality copy for yourself, I will begin to make arrangements so that it can be
distributed to all that are interested.) Thank you.
February 9th, 2004 I know it has been too long since I have updated this site. It has been
all too easy to get "too busy" to work on this or to keep in touch with the rest of you. I know
that we don't keep in contact as much as we should and especially as much as we'd like. However,
now is the time that we need to reignite those friendships and come together like never before.
Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to let us know how you're doing. Although you
may not hear from all of us, that does not mean that you are not missed.
It is for a very unfortunate reason that my attention has been brought back to this website.
This evening, I received an e-mail from Andre about the untimely passing of Amy Johnson. We all
knew Amy and enjoyed having her as part of our Building 23 family. Her enchanting smile and
positive, playful attitude made our time together as memorable as it was enjoyable.
Below, you will find a link to a section of this site in which I have placed my photos of
many of the great times we have shared with Amy. I invite you to take a few minutes to reflect
upon these and remember the woman that was a true friend to us all. I also will make available on
the message boards a section where you can share some of your favorite stories about time you
spent with Amy.
If you are interested, please feel free to e-mail myself or Andre to get the phone number
in which you can contact Amy's family and offer your condolences. Please let them know that
their loved one has touched the lives of many people around the country and that she is loved
far beyond the borders of New York.
May God welcome Amy into his home and watch over her family as they attempt to
get through this trying period. Know that although we are no longer together as we once were,
we are always with each other through our thoughts and prayers. Whether we are apart or together
at a future reunion, know that you will always be with us.
Sincerely,
Anthony J. D'Aiuto

Dec. 7th, 2002 It appears that one of our dear friends, Ashli, may be going to war in
the coming months. She sent out the following e-mail to many of us, but for those of you
that might not have received it, I want you to hear what she has to say.
"Hey All,
I was writing to tell all of you that I'm still alive. Actually I've been
at home helping take care of my grandmother and things like that. I was
writing because I wanted to talk about Iraq. As some of you know I am in the
Army now so this whole Iraq thing concerns me a lot. This weekend I had a
drill in Kansas, and I thought we were having a normal briefing. A couple of
classes into this they started to talk to us about our wills and power of
attorney. They were explaining how my unit has about a 90 percent chance of
leaving soon. I know there are a couple of you that I talk about this with,
but this is very serious. I'm not going to say that I'm scared or not, but
this is what I signed up for. Since earlier today I've been worried because
I don't want to leave my family and friends behind, but I have to deal with
it if that time comes. I'm not saying that I'm out of here just yet, but I
did say there was a 90 percent chance I could be deploying. Right now I'm
praying I don't, but this thing is about to go down fast. I have to go now,
but make sure you guys write back soon. I will be sending out an alternate
e-mail address because i'm not authorized to use this overseas.
Madd Luv,
ASHLI HINDS"
Please keep Ashli in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season. Send her an e-mail and let
her know how much we appreciate what she is doing and that she is missed.
Nov. 22nd, 2002 Welcome to the new face of the Chatham Square, Building 23 website!
I decided to take some time to do some renovations and clean the place up. Hopefully,
you will find the site easier to get around and also more attractive!
Since it has been so long since I have updated the site, there is a lot of news that
I have neglected to share. Most importantly, is the news about the reunion. It was a
tremendous success! We all have to give Kevin extra thanks for not only organizing
the event, but also for putting up with us at his place. We missed a lot of you there
and we are hoping that we will see you next Halloween since that seems to be the date
many of us agreed upon for an annual reunion. Please be sure to take a moment to
check out the video snapshots which can be seen in the photos section. They should
give you a good idea as to what a great time we had. Also stay tuned because a video
compilation is in the works! Over 9 hours of video were shot during the 3-4 day reunion!
The finished film should be ready around the beginning of the year, for any of you that
are nearby and would like to come and see the premiere. I will have video shorts available
on the website for those of you who cannot make it down to see the full film.
So, thank you Kevin for being such a great planner and host and we look forward to
seeing many more of you next year....especially all of you who talked so much shit about
definitely being here for this last reunion and never showed, (but we won't mention any
names.) ; ) -Tony
P.S. Be sure to stop by the videos section to check out my latest creation! It has highlights
of some of the reunion's greatest "Jackasses!" It's only about 2.5 MB, so it's not too big,
(especially for those of you with fast internet connections.). The video is a minute long and
very funny! When you get to it, it would probably be better to save it to your hard drive,
so the internet connection doesn't interrupt you watching the video. To save it, just right
click on the link, click "Save Target As" and you can find a spot on your hard drive to save
it and go back to it whenever you want without waiting!
Warning! This video is not for children or the faint of heart!!!
