| From the Office of the President: PRESIDENT CHERRIE CONGRADULATES MAJOR GENERAL LEE JOHNSON ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS CHIEF OF DEFENSE FORCE I Congradulate Major General Lee Johnson on his appointment as Chief of Defense Force. MG Johnson will be promoted with effect on his taking on of appointment to the rank of Leutenent General. As Commander in Chief of the Federation Armed Forces, I take keen interest in MG Johnson's appointment. My administration continues to look forward to working with MG Johnson and the Caldecott on all matters of National Defense and the running of the Federation Armed Forces. THOMAS CHERRIE The Chateau (President Cherrie will swear in MG Lee Johnson as Chief of Defense Force on the 23rd of February during a change of command ceremony at Queensport Military Institute, Queesport PA. Outgoing Chief of Defense Force LG Sean Price will move on to become Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Defense.
