PRESIDENT & MRS. CHERRIE TO WELCOME THE PRESIDENT OF CHILE TO THE CHATEAU FOR A STATE VISIT
President and Mrs. Cherrie have the honor of welcoming President Michelle Bachelet of Chile to the Chateau for a State Visit from the 18th of January - 20th January 2007.
The Federation shares a strong and lasting relationship with Chile and this visit is timely in honoring both Chile as well as Preisdent Bachelet's contribution to democracy in Chile, and the world community. President Bachelet will address a Special Joint Session of Congress at State Hall on the 18th of January.
On the 19th, President Bachelet will be welcomed in traditional State Arrival Fair with a State Arrival Ceremony on the South Lawn of the Chateau, followed by a day long summit and talks. The Preisdent will then be hosted to Lunch by the Secretary of State, and Tea by the Vice President. The President will be later hosted to a State Dinner at the Chateau. As per tradition, President Bachelet will spend the night at the Chateau as a guest of the President.
On the 20th, the President will depart first for Threed, and later on to World Club City for her next leg of their visit to the Federation.
President Bachelet will also visit World Club City, Adventures and Model Team from the 18th - 25th of January 2007.
