PRESIDENTIAL MESSAGE: NEW YEAR'S DAY 2007 Linda and I join all government leaders in wishing all Legolanders a very happy New Year's Day. We remember important key milestones in 2006. I want to stress that in 2006, our nation has reduced our pollution index by up to 15 percent due to our policies on pollution, and our stress to each citizen in protecting our environoment. We have also increased our eduction for each child by up to 12 percent. At the start of 2006 i asked each of you to embrace your communities and encourage all children to seek an education. I placed more funding in our education system and we have achieved much. I want to thank Congress for working hard on this issue. We have also imporoved our Redox Comission, and I have worked to reduced your income tax by5 percent, andw e have placed our tax weightage on expandature rather than income. By doing so, the average citizen will have lighter tax burderns. In 2007, Congress will pass over to the hands of the Houster party. I want to look forward working with them to make a better system where all citizens can have a better education, and better environment, and a safer contry to live in. It is also important to note that as a bipartisan governemnt, we have improved our sercuirty in 2006 at a ll entry points into the Federation. We have increased our aid to Africa, making the Federation all the more a responsible member of the international community.
