PRESIDENTIAL STATEMENT ON THE DEATH OF UNITED STATES PRESIDENT GERALD R. FORD
Linda and I send our deepest condolances to Mrs. Ford, her family and the People of the United States during this time of National Mourning. President Ford has always been a good friend of the Federation, and we will always remember the strong ties he had with the Federation during his time as Vice President and President. On a personal note, I fondly remember the time when Linda and I had the greatest honor and pleasure of welcoming President and Mrs. Ford to the Chateau in May this year.We had a wonderful time with with them. Unfortunately, it was to be his last visit to the Federation.
Our prayers and those of the People of the Federation remain on the Ford family. May God give you His assurence and peace during this difficult time.
