PRESIDENT CHERRIE TO HONOR THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS WITH THE PRESIDENT'S TOFTLER.
President Cherrie will honor Secretary General Kofi Annan with the President's Toftler during a ceremony at the Chateau on the 14th of December. This will by the Secretary General's last visit to the Chateau, and it is as such fitting to honor the Secretary General for his work in World Peace, helping aid to Africa, and the running of the United Nations.
The Secretary General and Mrs. Annan will also be honored with a dinner at the Chateau that same night. This is the third President's Toftler President Cherrie is presenting to a foreign dignatry, the first in 2005 to former US President Jimmy Carter, the second earlier this year to South African President Nelson Mandela, and to Secretary General Kofi Annan.
