FIRST LADY TO VISIT OCEANA
Mrs. Cherrie will represent the Preisdent to a visit of Oceana from the 30th of April - 6th of May 2006.
Mrs. Cherrie will visit the nation of Fiji from the 30th - 1st of May. Mrs. Cherrie will first make a stop over in Osaka, Japan, to meet with Lego Troops stationed there. She then go on to Suva, the captial of Fiji. On the 1st of May, Mrs. Cherrie will travel on to Honiara, Soloman Islands for the second part of her trip. on the 3rd of May, Mrs. Cherrie will briefly visit Vanuatu and then go on to Nukualofa, Tonga. on the 5th of May, Mrs. Cherrie will end of her visit by visitng Port Moresby, Puapa New Guinea. Mrs. Cherrie will then return to the Federation on the 6th of May via Guam, where she will meet Lego Toops stationed there.
The purpose of the trip is for the First Lady to follow up on the Austrasian Federation Summit on Environment and Oceanic Changes last held in December, as well as to tour and discuss marine and other sustable agriculture for developing nations.
