PRESDIENTIAL STATE VISIT TO INDIA & PAKISTAN
President and Mrs. Cherrie will particiapte in an Official State Visit to India and Parkistan from the 16th - 20th of December 2006. This is part of the President's on going agenda and diplomacy in East Asia, and at the warm invitation of the President of Parkistan, and the Prime Minister of India.
On the 16th of December, President and Mrs. Cherrie will arrive in Islamabad, and will paticipate in official State Arrivial Ceremonies. President and Mrs. Cherrie will travel on to New Delhi on the 17th of December, and will visit India through the 20th.
This visit marks a new milestone between the Federation and East Asia, as well as the Preisdent's first trip to India and Parkistan.
This will be the President's third official State Visit overseas this year, following visits to Canada in June and Mexico in April.
