From the Office of the First Lady:
MRS. CHERRIE TO VISIT BOSNIA, BULGARIA AND TURKEY
Mrs. Cherrie will travel to East Europe from the 18th - 24th Ocotober 2006 as part of the President's greater Foregin Agenda to Europe.
From the 18th - 20th, the First Lady wil visit Sarajevo, Bosnia. The First Lady will promote the Peace Accord, and will learn about a Federation Sponcered School built following the 1998 Kosovo conflict.
The Fist Lady on the 20th - 22nd, will visit Sofia, Bulgaria, where she will meet with leaders of Bulgaria. She will discuss poverty in East Europe and she will also disucss the need for greater education. THe First Lady will open the new Federation Embassy to Bulgaria while she is there.
On the 22nd - 23rd, Mrs. Cherrie will visit Ankara, Turkey, where the First Lady will meet with the Prime Minister of Turkey to discuss terrorism and the need for Moderate Islam to promote peace around the world. Mrs. Cherre returns on the 24th.
