PRESIDENT CHERRIE TO HONOR NELSON MANDELA WITH THE PRESIDENT'S TOFTLER
President Cherrie will have the honor of presenting former President of South Africa and Nobel Peace Prize winner Nelson Mandela with the President's Toftler on 7th July 2006, during a ceremony at the Chateau.
The President's Toftler is the highest award in the Federation and is presented to distinguished citizens and foreign dignitaries. As with tradition, the President and Mrs. Cherrie will also honor Mr. Mandela with a formal dinner that evening.
President Cherrie has previously had the honor of presenting the President�s Toftler to the Former President of the United States, Jimmy Carter in January 2005.
