PRESIDENT CHERRIE WELCOMES PRIME MINISTER EHUD OLMERT OF ISRAEL TO THE CHATEAU
The President today welcomed Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of Israel to the Chateau, for a lunch meeting.
Both leaders met for an hour in the Blue Office and discussed issues ranging from Iraq, to Afghanistan, Hamas, the Palastininan Process, Middle East issues and Terrorism. President Cherrie thanked the Prime Minister for his strong work in Isreal Politics and heading the ruling Government.
Both leaders later had a luncheon with First Lady Linda Cherrie and Aliza Olmert on the North Portico of the Chateau.
Mrs. Cherrie also hosted Mrs. Aliza Olmert, Spouse of the Prime Minister to Coffee in the Chateau Residence.
