PRESIDENT CHERRIE WELCOMES PRIME MINISTER JOHN HOWARD OF AUSTRALIA TO THE CHATEAU
The President today welcomed Prime Minister John Howard of Australia to the Chateau, for a morning meeting.
Both leaders met for an hour in the Blue Office and discussed issues ranging from Iraq, to Afghanistan as well as the Austrasian Federation Process. President Cherrie thanked the Prime Minister for Spear heading the issues of the Environment and Global Warming. Both leaders last met in New Zealand, in December last year.
Mrs. Cherrie also hosted Mrs. Jennette Howard, Spouse of the Prime Minister to Coffee in the Chateau Residence.
