PRESIDENT AND MRS. CHERRIE TO HOST HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH TO A STATE VISIT
Preisdent and Mrs. Cherrie will welcome Her Majesty Queen Elazabeth II and His Royal Highness Prince Phillip, to the Chateau for a State Visit from the 3rd - 5th of May 2007.
On the 3rd, Her Majesty will address a special sitting of Congress at State Hall, reaffirming the friendship between the Federation and the United Kingdom.
On the 4th, Her Majesty will be hosted to a traditional State Arrival Ceremony on the South Lawn followed by offical calls by the Preisdent at the Chateau. In the Evening, a formal State Dinner will be hosted in her honor. As with tradition, Her Majesty will spend the night at the Chateau.
On the 5th, Her Majesty will open the new British Council wing at the British Council in Metro City, before visiting Threed.
On the 6th, Her Majesty departs the Federation for the United States.
Queen Elizabeth last visited the Chateau, and the Federation, in June of 2002.
