THE PRESIDENT: I would just like tot make a statement on - what I have doent oday, I am greateful, for the Sherrief of Montaconto for being so helpful on this tragic moment, and I am also greatful to the Presidnet of MSU for meeting with me on such short notice. I am glad to have met the Governor of Bristone this morning here in Monotocanto to disucss this incident.

I once again express my deepest condolances to the families of those affected, and my heart goes out to those who have lost a loved one. This is a negative in our country which should never have had happen. - I have met with the victimes in hospital earlier this morning, and we will be going on to some meetings at the town hall on this issue, I want to meet with the chief investigator, I woudl liekt to know what is gogin on as the investigation contiunues. I have aked the Education Secretary and the Secretary of Home Affaires to come and investigate this forthemselves, and I will be here in Monotcanto for the Memoral Service when that - when that takes place in the near future.

I spoke with some students earlier on, I mamaged to walked around this secured area of MSU, but I didnt go to the building where the shootings took place - I believe that's on the other side of campus. I am glad to see the community, this community of MSU rallying around each other during this difficult time. Comfort each other, uphold each other and pray for each other that a loving God will give you strenght and resolve to move on.

Thankyou.

END
