GREECE

            Well landed in Athens Greece. Have Hotel Evripides on a good floor to se down town and the Aegean Sea. Will be here for sometime. Have a tour guide to show us the sights.

            Been up on the hill to see Athens, Panagia Gremio tissa, Greek Alphia, Portcora of Naxas, Erechtheion, The Acropolis. Need lunch so got Prawn lunch, salad and a few glasses of Erasmios wine.

            Back to the hotel sat outside to relax, with a glass of tsipourol(very strong) Granddaughter got hiccups from it. Supper was great Hotel put on a Buffet. Plenty seafood, bread, all types of salad and cold orange sodas. U can get colas tonic cherry or lemon drinks.

            Well morning after big breakfast of cereal, eggs, ham, bacon, juice and coffee, off again. Visited Greek Parliament (use to be a palace) King of Greece, ptto, Streets of Parliament very narrow, National Library, Hadrian Arch.

            So much to see, back to hotel for a swim. Supper of creamed octopus and squid, Pasta with clams, and crab and anchovies salad, Bottle of Santorini, coffee and rice pudding. Up for breakfast of toast coffee, eggs ham and bacon .

            Off again walking through Roman and Greek ruins. Back to hotel going to a wedding, so went bought a gift of dishes. Got dressed for the wedding, met allot of people so friendly. After wedding plenty of drinks.

            Granddaughter and I got a glass of Quzo(Strong), pleanty of music and dancing. We held our on even the (Sirtaki) Zorba The Greek which I've done before. Granddaughter did great.

            Back to room after 6 days here head North. Through Piralev, Khalkis, Amfissa, Lamia, Akheloas, Leokas, Arta and we stopped in Volas for the night at the Hotel Kipselin on the Volas Beach, viewing the Pagastic Gulf.

            After Breakfast walked to nearby restaurant for Lamb Stew, bread and coffee. After good nights left passed on breakfast. We crossed Achdous, Alpheus, Aspropotomas and Aliakmon River (longest in Greece).

            Now travel through Larisa and through allot of towns Arrived in Thessaloniki (2nd largest city in Greece) Hotel AD Imperial, with a quick supper and called it a night. On our way to Bulgaria.
