AMSTERDAM

            Amsterdam and a room at the Hotel Arena Amsterdam built in 1890. Be here for 3 days.

            Here in Holland Supper was Pea Soup, sauerkraut, mash potatoes, meatballs, grave, vegetables, biscuits, Vanilla Milk pudding and ginger cake with a bottle of De Line wine. Dessert was Frisionx Ginger Cake and some tae.

            Well up early had Bread, cheese, cereal, oatmeal, toast, juice and coffee. Left Amsterdam to Zwalle, Assen Groningen, Delfziji, Leuwarden, Den Helder on the North Sea. Then Haarlem, to The Hague for Lunch, of Salad, clams oysters, and mussels, fish cheese and bread and tae. Had a Chocolate to snack on.

            Traveled through Europort, Dordrecht, Tilburg to Rotterdam, and back to our Hotel. After relaxing with a local beer. After a shower t0 unwind, went for supper Beef Pie, bread, vegetables, and dessert, a cake ball filled with cream fruit and coating of chocolate. Some Lindebour Beer. Morning breakfast coffee, cheese bread oatmeal juice and coffee.

            So toured the city, went to where Anne Frank hid from the Nazis. Anne today would be 80 in April. There are pictures o her. Anne not only being pretty is very intelligent. Anne Frank - Page

            Took a boat ride, a paddlewheel on the Kasteel, visited Medernblick Castle, Assumburg Castle, Beeckestign Castle, alot of castles. Castle Haar so now back to hotel for our last supper of Roast Beef, vegetables, bread, mash potatoes, and a chocolate cake. Had a glass of Lubberchuizeb(Like schnapps).

            Hated to leave Europe would spent a year here. Too much for a short time. Back home on March 8th, very tired... End of trip.
