Hungary

      Arrived in Budapest, staying at Hotel Helio, very lovely overlooking main part of the city. Supper was a treat with venison, Been soup, variety of salads, with a Gosser Kaiser Beer. Rented a car and on me way to Miskolc over Tisza River to Ozd. Willstay at Silvanus Hotel, very reasonable. Had a quick sandwich of chicken and potato salad, and a cold drink.

      City very old. Of course alot of this Country destroyed by Nazis and Russians but some parts remain. Off to Esztergom over the Danube River. Down to Veszprem and on to Siofok trying to see as much as possible. Lovely country. At Hotel Kastelysz. All rooms very cheap and food excellent.

      Had a Chicken sandwich and some Pecri Szalon Beer. I'm gaining weight. took a walk through the small city meeting people. Hungary is surrounded by Serbia & Montenegro, Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia, Croatia and Austria. Have traveled through Szeged Kaposvar near Drava River.

      Hungary is a small country through Matra Hills Stayed in great hotels and excellent food. Hungary is over 1300 years old invaded by Turks, Mongols, Germans, Russians, and alot of other countries.
