The River front has very old homes devoted to Italian Immigrates who came here to work the rich lands. Torino started 3 centuries ago by "taurine blend of Celto-Ligurian people. Romans had the area for short time. Torino was very much over run by Bishops, and feudal lords. Finally Emperor Federick II, took control. France dominatd the area for many years. Got a chance to visit Savoy residences who were the power around. I visited the Carignano Place and very impressed, they knew how to live. Well had a hearty supper of veal, beef, sausages, pasta, and salad. Dessert was date pie, very delicious, and naturally some local wine. Bread Sticks were started by King Viltorio Enamuel II who was a finicky eater. Met people from California and Utah they invited me to fly from Torino to Naples. Was a grand flight, not to high so could see all the villzaages, towns rivers and the country side.

Hotel manager suggested going to Cafe De La Rosa for a party. After I met the hostess and was seated alot of dancing, food and drink. Dancers wore Roman type clothing. Ladies with Lovely clothing, men with short Roman garb. I had told her I was from Ireland. I said "yes", and did I wear Irish Kilts. She ask me where they were, I said in me room. She ask me to go put them on, which I did. Then the party really got going. Seems certain Ladies were courious underneath. I did have green shorts on.
